Abstract
Service-based economy and an increased use of technology gave rise to what is called as the New Economy. The section discusses the emerging trends and issues in the changing economic conditions ranging from innovations in businesses to attract the customers, individualism and the Financial Crisis as well as the contested notions around morality, gender and culture.
