Abstract
Direct and regioselective alkynylation of highly fluorinated nitrobenzene derivatives by palladium-catalyzed Sonogashira type processes is described, representing the first examples of metal-catalyzed sp2–sp cross-coupling reactions involving C–F bond activation.
