Abstract
This is the publication of the finds from the two monastic sites and contains much new evidence to throw light on the cultural and economic context of the sites. There are important sections on building materials, including an outstanding collection of early window glass; sculptured stone; portable objects; pottery; skeletal and faunal remains. We assume that this will be an essential work of reference for Early and Later Medieval specialists for some years to come.
